In the field of ice cream food styling, there is a very thin, invisible line between the appealing and the chaotic. Working with real product for this conceptual Farggi campaign was, above all, a challenge of time management.
The visual goal was not to show a perfect, unyielding scoop of ice cream, but to capture the exact instant when the texture begins to subtly surrender to the camera, that precise moment when the product becomes organic, soft, and mouthwatering, just before losing its structure.
To achieve this in a still life setting with such dramatic lighting, the work as home economist was split into two phases: a meticulous pre-design of the consistency backstage and high-precision teamwork on set alongside the photographer. In this type of project, every second counts. The food stylist‘s advance preparation is everything to ensure that the final click happens in the right milisecond.
